Shan Panya

When Hans Leiendecker, our Production Director, joined the Myanmar Vineyard company, one of his first requests was: “ We need to have a high quality sparkling wine, made in Aythaya”. That was the beginning of a series of production runs, which ended with the creation in 2016 of our “Shan Panya”.


The challenge was, to find the best white wine grape variety to make a high quality sparkling product. The most noble Sauvignon Blanc grapes have been selected to give this sparkling event his delicate fruitiness and remarkable character. “Shan Panya” is a sparkling wine with significant levels of carbon dioxide with typical tiny bubbles. After processing, it then still takes some time for maturing, before this noble sparkling drink satisfies the demanding palate of connoisseurs.


With “Shan Panya“, we now can provide a high quality sparkling wine to the market for celebrations and special festive occasions.



Aythaya Sparkling Rosé


Grapes: Shiraz (95%), Red Muscat (5%)


Characteristics: salmon colour. The fine CO₂ pearls reinforce the typical Shiraz aroma which is accompanied by a bouquet of roses and fruity freshness. The traces of mellow fructose ensure the necessary and lasting harmony of the after-taste.


Food Matching: sweet and sour and hot-spiced Asian dishes with white meats and well spiced fish dishes. Excellent also for most pastas.

Recommended Temperature: 5 – 7 °C

Aythaya Sparkling Gold



Since 2016 Aythaya Vineyard Estate has been producing sparkling wine which has become part of numerous special occasions. The most noble Sauvignon Blanc grapes have been selected to give Aythaya Brut a delicate fruitiness and a remarkable elegant character.

Recommended Temperature: 6 – 8 °C
